Typical Indoor Unit Mounting Bracket with 3" Opening
This is where the installation begins. The indoor unit mounting bracket (top)
is normally hung on an exterior wall and a 3 inch hole is drilled.
The interconnecting refrigerant tubings, drain tube and electric wiring,
will be installed through the hole and go to the outdoor unit.
After the installation of interconnecting tubings and electric wiring, the hole
is sealed with putty and the indoor unit housing (which is longer than bracket)
will be mounted on the bracket which covers (hides) opening View
